Live from Philadelphia.

Born and raised in the Scranton, Pennsylvania area, my love for hospitality started when I was just fifteen years old. It was then that I began working at a local family-owned and operated Italian restaurant, Cara Mia’s Delicatessen. With my outgoing and social personality, working to service others each day was something I immediately fell in love with.

At age eighteen I moved to Philadelphia to major in Strategic Communications with a focus on Public Relations at Temple University. While enrolled, I served as Secretary for PRowl Public Relations, Temple’s student-run PR firm, and Director of Fundraising for Temple’s Public Relations Student Society of America chapter. As I began to hone in on my newfound skillset, I noticed the deli that still employed me on breaks and during the summer could benefit from an online presence within the community. I pitched the idea of becoming Media Manager to Cara Mia’s and assumed the role immediately, creating a website and social media accounts on multiple platforms.

It was these experiences that led me to an internship with VISIT PHILADELPHIA®, the official tourism marketing agency for Philadelphia. While interning with visitphilly.com over the course of two years, I gained immeasurable knowledge in the fields of marketing, public relations, tourism, hospitality and social media.

I was determined to stay in the Philadelphia area after graduation and was more than happy to accept the position of Social Media Manager for WW Hospitality Marketing. WW is a Philadelphia-based, full-service marketing agency focused on providing integrated, multi-channel marketing solutions to the hospitality industry. Ten years and several promotions later, I am still employed by WW as Media Director & Marketing Consultant.

I’ve continued with my freelance creative work, including maintaining my position as Media Manager for Cara Mia’s Delicatessen. I also provide freelance marketing services to Over The Moon Scranton, Berger’s Moving, and The Kirtland Foundation Scholarship, all based out of my hometown.

Before becoming a mother in May of 2021, I balanced my day job and freelance work within the fitness community—I worked as an indoor cycling instructor for two years at The Wall Cycling Studio. Though I had to take a step back to stay home with my daughter, Tully, I’ve continued working within the health industry by providing marketing and web services for both the studio, Hype Girl Health, and most recently, Steamtown Hot Yoga & Barre. I also work as an Executive Administrator for Nexstar Media Group. Other passions of mine include event planning, traveling, spinning, and reading.
